The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed on Thursday with an increase, with a turnover of 59.73 billion lei, the main BET index rising by 0.79%.

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) had a positive day on Thursday, with most indices recording gains. The total turnover was 59.73 billion lei (11.75 million euros). The main index, BET, increased by 0.79%, reaching 22,139.63 points. The BET-Plus index advanced by 0.77%, while BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.91%. The BET-FI index, which reflects the performance of SIFs, had a significant appreciation of 2.48%.


In contrast, the BET AeRO index, dedicated to companies on the AeRO market, decreased by 0.70%. The most liquid stocks were those of Romgaz, OMV Petrom, and Banca Transilvania. The largest gains were recorded by the stocks of Armătura (+14.62%), Prefab (+9.76%), and COMCM (+9.62%), while the largest declines were at Societatea de Construcții Napoca (-9.50%), Sinteza (-2.36%), and Rompetrol Rafinare (-2.35%).
