In January 2025, apartment prices increased significantly in Romania's major cities. Bucharest recorded an increase of 13% compared to 2024.

According to data from Storia, the real estate platform launched by OLX, the average price of apartments for sale (both new and old) saw a significant increase in January 2025. In Bucharest, the cumulative average price was €1,917/sq m, up 12% compared to 2024. Significant increases were also recorded in other major cities, such as Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Brasov, Sibiu, Constanța, Oradea and Craiova.
