Iran has announced that it is prepared to reduce its stock of highly enriched uranium in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions imposed by the United States. Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran's deputy foreign minister, made this statement in a recent interview with the BBC, highlighting a possible opening in nuclear negotiations.
This proposal comes in the context of the resumption of tense discussions aimed at preventing the escalation of a regional crisis. Iran thus expresses its intention to collaborate to find a solution that benefits both parties, while facing the economic challenges generated by sanctions.
