In the first six months of 2025, primary energy resources grew by 3.1% and household electricity consumption increased by 5.3%.

Data from the National Institute of Statistics show a 3.1% increase in primary energy resources in the first half of 2025, but a 0.9% decrease in final electricity consumption in the economy. Domestic energy production decreased by 4.7%, while imports increased by 12.5%. Although production from thermal and hydro power plants decreased, solar power increased significantly. Household consumption increased by 5.3%, while electricity exports increased significantly.
