The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, announced that individuals and families with low incomes can benefit from heating assistance and energy supplements during the winter season 2025-2026. Applications are submitted to local municipalities, and payments will begin in December. Heating assistance is granted between November 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, while the energy supplement is provided monthly throughout the year. Eligible individuals must have net average incomes of up to 1,386 lei per person or 2,053 lei for single individuals. ANPIS will manage the payments, considering that in the last season, 2 million aids were granted, totaling approximately 1.03 billion lei.
