Eurostat: Euro area grew slightly by 0.2% in the second quarter. Romania had the weakest economic performance.

According to Eurostat data, the euro area economy grew by 0.2% in the second quarter, while Romania had the weakest performance in the EU bloc, with an increase of just 0.1%. Eurostat also published figures on the evolution of the employment rate, with the number of people in work rising by 0.2% in the euro area and by 0.1% in the European Union.
