The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, expressed the desire to gradually reduce labor taxation in Romania. However, he emphasized that the financial impact of such a measure is significant and that its implementation is not feasible at present. Nazare mentioned that in order to apply a tax reduction, a detailed analysis of the country's financial situation is necessary, as well as ensuring adequate budgetary resources. Thus, although there is an intention to reduce labor taxes, the current conditions do not allow for such an immediate change.
