The proposal comes as ANAF is faced with a considerable amount of 124 billion lei that it has to recover from companies in various stages of financial difficulty. The minister pointed out that a significant part of these sums, about 19 billion lei, comes from state-owned companies. He announced that he will call for changes to the insolvency law to close the 'loopholes' that allow abuses.
