The European Union has announced that European products, including cars and medicines, will be subject to a 15% duty on entering the United States. EU commissioner Maros Sefcovic said that although it failed to include wines in the exemptions, negotiations continue. These duties are higher than previous ones, but lower than the Trump administration's initial threats. The EU is also committed to investing $750 billion in US energy.
