The long term loan agreement supports the construction of the 126MWp Văcărești photovoltaic park, which will avoid 48,600 tons of CO2 annually. The loan is aligned with the Green Lending Principles and will support the green transition in line with the European Green Deal. DRI will sell 50% of its energy production to OMV Petrom starting in 2027. This project underlines DRI's commitment to renewable energy in Romania.
