The average price of apartments in Bucharest has increased by 3.6% in the last six months, reaching 2,331 euros/sqm, according to a specialized analysis published on Monday. In contrast, houses have recorded a decrease of 0.5%.

The most expensive areas of the capital remain in the north, especially the neighborhoods of Primăverii, Pipera Platform, and Herăstrău, where prices exceed 4,300 euros/sqm. Specialists note an adjustment in demand in favor of new developments and business areas. On the opposite end, areas such as Ferentari and Giulești Sârbi have prices of approximately 1,400 - 1,500 euros/sqm.

Although Bucharest is no longer the most expensive city in Romania, it remains attractive to real estate investors, having the highest rental yield of 6.7%. With over 43,000 active listings and 11,455 monthly transactions, Bucharest maintains its position as one of the most liquid real estate markets in the country.
