Romania strengthens its position among the most competitive logistics and industrial markets in Europe, according to the report 'Waypoint: Global Industrial Dynamics 2026' by Cushman & Wakefield.
The average rent in Bucharest, at 4.8 euros/m2/month, is the fourth lowest among major European markets, attracting the interest of companies looking to optimize their costs. Although industrial rents have increased by 2% annually, Romania remains stable in the context of mature markets. Labor costs are also competitive, with Bucharest having lower wages compared to other European cities.
The report highlights the importance of energy efficiency and sustainability in the decisions regarding the location of logistics operations. Demand for logistics space remains high, and Bucharest benefits from diversification strategies adopted by companies. In conclusion, Romania proves to be an attractive market for logistics and industrial investments, having a favorable balance between costs, labor force, and accessibility.
