Shocking scenes took place in a tram in Bremen, where a 25-year-old Romanian man attacked two young women aged 18 and 19 after seeing them kissing. The incident occurred on Friday evening at the Haferkamp station, when the aggressor approached the girls and insulted them with homophobic slurs. After an exchange of words, the man punched the 18-year-old in the face, causing her to lose consciousness. The attack continued with a blow to the abdomen inflicted on the victim who had fallen to the ground.

The swift intervention of the police from the central station led to the immobilization of the aggressor, who was subsequently arrested. The judicial police have opened an investigation for serious bodily harm.
