A Romanian has been arrested for stealing 60 bottles of wine from a supermarket in Italy.

A 36-year-old Romanian man, a resident of Peschiera del Garda, was arrested by the carabinieri after stealing 60 bottles of wine from the Italmark supermarket in Canneto sull'Oglio, Mantua province. The incident occurred when the man attempted to load several crates of wine into a shopping cart, leaving the store without paying.

The store staff immediately alerted the carabinieri, who responded quickly. The officers obtained surveillance footage, essential for identifying the suspect. The value of the stolen goods was estimated at approximately 900 euros. The man was reported to the Prosecutor's Office on charges of aggravated theft.
