The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow warning for atmospheric instability valid until Friday morning, July 3, at 10:00 AM.


During this period, torrential downpours, frequent lightning strikes, wind intensifications with gusts of 50 – 70 km/h and isolated over 80 km/h, as well as small hail are expected. The amounts of water will vary between 15 – 25 liters/sqm, and in restricted areas, they may exceed 30 – 40 liters/sqm.


Additionally, on Thursday, July 2, between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM, a yellow warning for heatwave and high thermal discomfort will be in effect in Maramureș, Transylvania, northern and central Moldova, where temperatures will reach values of 31 – 34 degrees Celsius.
