The National Meteorological Administration has issued two yellow warnings for atmospheric instability, valid on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, most of the mountainous area, as well as the east and southeast of Transylvania, will be affected by torrential downpours, electrical discharges, wind intensifications, isolated gusts of 50–70 km/h, and small to possibly medium-sized hail.
Water quantities will reach 15–20 l/m² in short intervals, and in restricted areas, they may exceed 30–40 l/m². Manifestations of atmospheric instability are possible in isolated areas and in the rest of the country.
On Thursday, the phenomena will affect the east and southeast of Transylvania, the north of Muntenia, the southwest of Moldova, and locally the Southern and Eastern Carpathians. Torrential downpours, electrical discharges, short-term wind intensifications, isolated gusts of 50–70 km/h, and small-sized hail are forecasted.
Water quantities will be 15–20 l/m² and, in restricted areas, over 30–40 l/m².
