A serious incident of domestic violence occurred in Satu Mare, where a 45-year-old woman suffered severe burns after her boyfriend set their home on fire. The two had an argument, and the man, a 46-year-old shepherd, threw gasoline over the lit stove, causing a violent fire. The fire spread rapidly, and witnesses called 112. Volunteer firefighters intervened, saving the woman, who is now in intensive care with second and third-degree burns covering 40% of her body. The man fled after the incident but was found by the police 20 kilometers away. He will be questioned by prosecutors regarding this case.
