A 42-year-old woman was killed by her partner on Tuesday, in an apartment in Neamț

A 42-year-old woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in an apartment in the municipality of Roman, Neamț County. The main suspect is the victim’s partner, a 45-year-old man who reportedly later jumped from the fourth floor of the building.

Police were alerted at around 3:20 p.m. via a 112 emergency call. The person who alerted the authorities reported that the woman had allegedly been attacked and that the man intended to assault her child as well.

According to initial checks, the victim was allegedly attacked with a sharp-pointed object while inside the home. The woman suffered serious injuries and died.

After the incident, the man jumped from the fourth floor. He was found alive by a medical crew and taken to hospital.

The victim’s 15-year-old son was found by police and was not injured. Investigations are continuing to establish all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
