According to the ANM forecast, between July 3, 12:00 – July 4, 08:00, Romania will be affected by significant atmospheric instability, manifested by torrential downpours, intensifications of the wind and storms with gusts of 50–90 km/h, frequent electrical discharges, and small to medium-sized hail (1–3 cm). In short intervals, the amounts of water will reach 15–40 l/m², and in restricted areas, they may exceed 50–60 l/m².
In particular, between July 3, 17:00 and July 3, 22:00, an orange code warning is issued for the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, where torrential downpours with water accumulations of 25–40 l/m² are expected. Also, between July 4, 08:00 and July 4, 23:00, wind intensifications will be recorded in Maramureș, Transylvania, and Moldova, with speeds of 50–70 km/h. Meteorologists recommend caution in these unstable weather conditions.
