Dorinel Umbrărescu, the leader of UMB Spedition, provided rare details about the progress of the works on the Moldova Highway during a meeting with the Minister of Transport. The section, which stretches over 319 kilometers between Ploiești and Pașcani, already has a portion inaugurated between Focșani and Adjudu Vechi. Umbrărescu specified that the Adjudu Vechi – Săbăoani section, covering 95 kilometers, will be completed by August 31, 2026, while the remaining 27 kilometers to Pașcani will be finished by December 22, 2026. Currently, the highway is open up to Adjudu Vechi, and the works continue with phased openings planned for 2026. The A7 project, with a total length of 450 kilometers, is funded from PNRR funds, and the deadline for completion is crucial for the acceptance of funding by the European Commission.
