Péter Magyar asks that the Hungarian Democratic Union in Romania refrain from political debates in Hungary.

Leader Kelemen Hunor stated, after the meeting with the future Prime Minister of Hungary, Péter Magyar, that he explicitly requested the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania to stay away from the internal political debates in Hungary. According to the UDMR leader, this condition was discussed in the context of building a more predictable relationship between the parties, with Magyar insisting that the organization should not get involved in the political struggles between Hungarian parties in his country.
