The Bucharest Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges has announced traffic restrictions on the Friendship Bridge, between Giurgiu and Ruse, starting July 4, due to extreme temperatures that may affect the bridge structure. The restrictions apply between 10:00 and 20:00 and all vehicles will have to wait on the DN5 before entering the bridge. Traffic drivers will coordinate access to avoid congestion. This is not the first closure of the bridge, which was recently restricted for repair works.
