The circulation of vehicles on the Friendship Bridge Giurgiu-Ruse will be completely suspended on Thursday, March 12, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, due to repair works on the asphalt surface being carried out on the Bulgarian side of the bridge.

The information was transmitted by the Bulgarian border authorities through the Giurgiu Joint Contact Center. The Giurgiu Border Police recommended that traffic participants plan their routes in advance to avoid congestion and delays, suggesting alternative routes through Dolj County, at the border points Calafat and Bechet, or through Teleorman County, at Zimnicea and Turnu Măgurele. Other options include the border points in Călărași County and Constanța County.
