Traffic on the Friendship Bridge Giurgiu-Ruse will be temporarily closed on Saturday, June 27, 2026, between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM for all categories of vehicles, due to the organization of the parade of vessels, a cross-border event that will take place on the Danube River, in the municipalities of Giurgiu and Ruse.

The parade will include a procession of vessels, visible from both banks of the river and from the bridge. The event will be complemented by concerts on both banks and will culminate with a fireworks display in the central area of the bridge.

Border authorities recommend traffic participants to plan their travels according to this restriction and to follow the instructions of the police and other present authorities.
