On July 6, 2026, road traffic will be closed on several sections of DN 7C Transfăgărășan, for the organization of two events: 'The Sibiu Cycling Tour' and a private photo session with cars.

The Infotrafic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police has announced that the restrictions will take place between 07:30 and 18:00, with specific closures at different time intervals. Thus, traffic will be stopped in the Bâlea Lake Tunnel, at the Bâlea Lake Cabin, as well as on the segments between the Vama Cucului Cabin and the Bâlea Waterfall Cabin.

Traffic police recommend drivers to avoid traveling on this road and to respect the temporary signals, considering the extent of the restrictions and the presence of police officers for traffic management.
