On Tuesday afternoon, traffic was completely blocked on the Olt Valley, in the area of Călimănești, Vâlcea County, due to the overturning of a tanker loaded with flammable substances. The incident occurred on DN 7, at kilometer 199, and authorities intervened to manage the situation, with reports of flammable substance losses. The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges (DRDP) Craiova estimates that traffic will resume in approximately four hours.

Fortunately, no victims requiring medical care have been reported. On-site, teams of firefighters, police, and National Roads were mobilized, and a safety perimeter was established within a radius of 200 meters. Authorities are awaiting the arrival of a tanker and a special vehicle with robots to transfer the gas from the tanker.
