The City Hall of Timișoara has decided to send four generators to Kiev to support the energy supply of essential services, in the face of massive drone and missile attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

Mayor Dominic Fritz signed the contract, and its value is 138,800 lei (excluding VAT).

The generators will assist medical clinics, schools, and civilian shelters affected by the war. This initiative responds to requests from Ukrainian authorities and underscores the importance of international solidarity. The generators are equipped with advanced systems, including automatic start and remote monitoring.

Timișoara has been active in supporting Ukraine since the early days of the conflict, mobilizing to help refugees and send humanitarian aid.
