Three drivers from Botoșani County tried to avoid a traffic control by entering a private yard, but the police discovered several irregularities. The incident occurred on Thursday when the officers from the Traffic Service signaled the stop of a car on DE 58, in the locality of Baia. The driver ignored the signals and entered the yard of a property, followed by two other drivers. Two of them complied with the police's requests, but one, a 35-year-old man, fled behind the building. He had his license suspended and was later caught and detained for 24 hours. Another driver, a 32-year-old man, was suspected of having consumed psychoactive substances, and his car was not registered. He was taken to the hospital for tests. The police continue investigations for driving without a license and putting an unregistered vehicle into circulation, and depending on the toxicological results, the investigations may be extended for driving under the influence of prohibited substances.
