The Public Health Directorate of Timiș has revoked the sanitary authorization of the "William Shakespeare" Theoretical High School in Timișoara and imposed a fine of 40,000 lei, following an inspection that revealed serious hygiene and sanitary non-compliances. Inspectors found extensive damage to the walls, including peeling, dampness, mold, and mildew, affecting the interior finishes. Additionally, it was observed that the floors in the classrooms and hallways were worn and uneven, complicating sanitation efforts.

On the exterior, the building's facade showed similar damage, with water infiltrations. DSP Timiș emphasized that the identified deficiencies pose major risks to the health of the students, considering that the high school has approximately 1,300 enrolled students. The revocation of the authorization was decided in accordance with HG no. 857/2011, as the unit no longer meets the necessary legal conditions.
