Two students from Bacău’s Pedagogical High School were hit by a piece of plaster that fell from the ceiling of a classroom during a break. The incident occurred in recent days, amid rainfall that may have caused water infiltration in the building.
The school management was informed immediately, and the two teenagers were taken to the school’s medical office for evaluation. Their parents were notified about the incident. According to the Bacău County School Inspectorate, the students were not injured.
Initial information indicates that water infiltration may have caused the plaster to come loose. School authorities will investigate the situation and determine the work needed to remedy the problem.
The classroom has been temporarily closed and will not be reopened until the ceiling is repaired. The measure is intended to prevent further incidents and ensure that classes take place safely. The case was reported by Știrile ProTV.
