Tragedy in the Capital: a person drowned in Lake Tei

On Sunday evening, an intervention by divers from the Capital ended tragically after a person was observed in danger of drowning in Lake Tei, on Barbu Văcărescu Street. The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Bucharest-Ilfov was requested to intervene to save the victim. A team of divers from the Special Rescue Detachment, a towable boat, and two first aid teams were dispatched to the scene. Although the person was pulled from the water, the resuscitation efforts by the rescue teams were unsuccessful, and the victim was declared dead.
