The engineering company Simtel Team, listed on the BVB, has completed the settlement process for the funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for the photovoltaic park project in Giurgiu.

The Ministry of Energy has recognized an amount of 39.658 million lei, approximately 20.953 million lei less than the maximum non-reimbursable aid of 60.612 million lei provided in the contract. Simtel contests part of this difference, arguing that a large part comes from the efficiency of the project implementation, which was carried out at lower costs than estimated.

The company will request a re-evaluation of the components considered unjustified by the Ministry of Energy, considering that the technical indicators used do not accurately reflect the project's parameters, according to Simtel.

Simtel aims to recover up to 20% of the unreimbursed amount, and the accounting impact of this situation will be reflected in the financial statements for S1 2026.

The photovoltaic park, with a capacity of 52 MWp, was put into operation in November 2025.
