A team of pyrotechnicians from the 2nd Firefighters Detachment of Iași intervened in the locality of Holboca, Iași County, after elements of ammunition were reported discovered during construction work for a fence. The ammunition, consisting of 71 armor-piercing projectiles and 21 explosive projectiles, was transported and stored under safe conditions for later destruction.

Pyrotechnic interventions are considered among the most complex and dangerous missions, and specialists emphasize the importance of strictly following procedures to avoid major risks associated with handling unexploded ammunition. Citizens are advised to immediately report the discovery of ammunition to the number 112 and not to intervene personally, while local authorities have the responsibility to secure the area.
