Alin Șerbănescu, spokesperson for the National Company of Highways and National Roads (CNAIR), stated that the number of young deaths from road accidents has surpassed deaths caused by tuberculosis and drug use, highlighting the seriousness of the situation. At the first conference dedicated to the road safety campaign, he emphasized the importance of road education, which has been neglected for 35 years.

The campaign aims to create reflexes of respecting traffic rules, especially among young people, to reduce the number of accidents. Șerbănescu mentioned that early education can diminish the need for coercive intervention. The CNAIR pilot project aims to inform and educate students in the counties traversed by DN 1 and DN 2, with the goal of promoting preventive behaviors in traffic.
