The DIICOT investigation into the Nordis group has significantly expanded, after prosecutors received 300 new complaints from victims. These complaints target the group's administrators, as well as the companies Nordis Management and Nordis Mamaia, suspected of fraud with particularly serious consequences. The total damage has risen to approximately 75 million euros, representing the amounts paid by 850 victims for properties that were not built and delivered. In total, 700 criminal complaints have been filed. It is possible that Vladimir Ciorbă, the owner of Nordis, and his associates will be summoned again for statements. Ciorbă was previously placed under judicial control, and Laura Vicol, the former PSD deputy, is also being investigated for several offenses, including the establishment of an organized criminal group and fraud.
