Cristi Borcea will be heard in the case of embezzlement involving the sister of former minister Carmen Dan, accused of fraud with non-existent goods.

Cristi Borcea, the former financier from Dinamo, reacted after learning that he will be heard in the case involving Simona Stan, the sister of former Interior Minister Carmen Dan. She, along with Mariana Pop, is accused of fraud, promising cars and housing below market value, causing damages of over 1.3 million euros.

Borcea stated that he does not know the individuals involved and has no information about this case, mentioning that he has had no connections with Carmen Dan. Among the victims are five dentists who were drawn into the scam through false promises of selling goods from large companies. The victims paid large sums for non-existent goods, including 220,000 euros for Mercedes cars and 372,000 euros for apartments, which were never delivered.
