The Romanian National Team shows support for former coach Mircea Lucescu, hospitalized in Intensive Care. The team's message: "Fight, Mr. Lucescu!"

The National Team of Romania sent an emotional message on Sunday for former coach Mircea Lucescu, who is currently hospitalized in Intensive Care. In a post on their Facebook page, the national team emphasized that in difficult moments, the score on the board becomes irrelevant, and the true victory is that of life. "Our thoughts are directed towards the man who shaped destinies and put Romania on the map of world football. We are one team, one heart, and this heart beats today for you! Fight, Mr. Lucescu!" was the team's message.

The former coach was transferred Saturday night from the Cardiology department of the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital to the Anesthesia and Intensive Care department, after his health condition deteriorated. Mihai Stoichiță, the technical director of FRF, mentioned that Lucescu is in an induced coma and connected to machines.
