The Ministry of National Defense announces the multinational exercise SCORPIONS LEGACY 2026, scheduled between May 7-23, with the participation of 1,700 soldiers from seven countries.

The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) announced that between May 7 and 23, the multinational exercise SCORPIONS LEGACY 2026 (SCLE 26) will take place, with approximately 1,700 soldiers from Romania and six other allied countries participating: Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, France, and Bulgaria. The exercise is planned and conducted by the Command of the Multinational Brigade Southeast Craiova and will take place at the 'Getica' National Joint Training Center in Cincu, Brașov County.

The main objective of SCLE 26 is to increase the cohesion of multinational structures through command exercises, field training, and tactical exercises with live fire. MApN emphasizes that this exercise contributes to the development of reaction capacity and the improvement of interoperability within the alliance.
