The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the application 'Travel Informed', a digital platform aimed at Romanian citizens traveling abroad. The project, valued at over 3 million euros, was funded through non-reimbursable European funds and national co-financing. The application, available on Google Play and the App Store, provides relevant information about travel conditions, alerts and warnings, as well as the possibility to report emergency situations that require consular protection.

Oana Darie, the general director of the Consular Department, emphasized the importance of this application in streamlining communication and informing citizens, aiming to increase the number of Romanians who register their travels and consult the MFA information before leaving for abroad. The application also aims to become an essential tool for the safety of Romanians while traveling.
