The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced significant progress in updating the list of compensated and free medications, reducing the number of therapies awaiting public funding. In the last six months, 41 new molecules have been introduced, and this year an additional 33 medications will be added.

These changes are essential for patients who urgently need modern treatments. In oncology, a radiopharmaceutical for prostate cancer will be introduced, along with therapies for other types of cancer. Access to treatments for rare diseases will also be ensured. Rogobete emphasizes the importance of efficiency in resource use, mentioning that these advances are the result of reducing waste and the contribution of citizens. The measures are available for public consultation on the Ministry of Health's website.
