The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, participated on Tuesday, alongside Mirabela Grădinaru, in the debate 'Addictions in Children and Adolescents', organized at the Cotroceni Palace. Rogobete highlighted the importance of early prevention and the development of mental health, a neglected area until now.

He mentioned that this event is part of a broader project, 'Romania in Light', which addresses important social issues. The minister emphasized that addictions must be treated from multiple perspectives, including medicine, education, and community.

He also presented the programs run by the ministry to combat addictions, including screenings for various conditions and initiatives in mental health. Rogobete concluded that real change occurs when there is trust and collaboration among all parties involved, to build sustainable solutions.
