Following the Government meeting, the Minister of Transport, Ciprian Șerban, announced the approval of the transfer of four plots of land necessary for the operation of a section of the M6 subway line. These plots will be transferred to public ownership of the state, thus facilitating the development of transport infrastructure. However, the transport plan for passengers wishing to travel from the University to Henri Coandă Airport in Otopeni will involve three transfers, as the subway line to the airport will bypass the 1 Mai and Pajura areas. This situation raises questions about the efficiency and comfort of travel for users.
