On Saturday morning, the Infotrafic Center of IGPR announced that road traffic is affected by fog in 16 counties, including Argeș, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Gorj, Harghita, Iași, Mehedinți, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Satu Mare, Suceava, Teleorman, Tulcea, and Vâlcea. The fog reduces visibility on the roads, and under certain local conditions, it may favor the formation of ice or black ice. Police recommend that drivers travel at an adapted speed, maintain a greater safety distance between vehicles, and avoid risky overtaking.

Additionally, stopping on the lanes or on the emergency lane on highways is prohibited. Pedestrians are advised to avoid moving on the roadway in conditions of reduced visibility and to ensure that drivers see their intention to cross.
