The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced the dismissal of the director of DSP Constanța and the withdrawal of the operating license for certain departments, following the irregularities found.

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced on Wednesday the immediate dismissal of the executive director of the Public Health Directorate of Constanța, Cristina Schipor, following irregularities discovered after the death of a 29-year-old patient, who died after giving birth at a private hospital in Constanța. Additionally, the operating license for the Operating Room and the Intensive Care Unit has been revoked until the legal issues are resolved. Rogobete emphasized that he will not tolerate the continuation of these irregularities and announced fines of over 60,000 lei for the healthcare unit. Reports regarding the situation in Constanța have been sent to the National Anti-Corruption Directorate and the General Prosecutor's Office for criminal investigations. These measures were taken following an inspection carried out by the Control Body of the Ministry of Health.
