On the Comarnic Beltway construction site, work is progressing rapidly, with asphalt laid along the entire route. According to official statements, if the work pace is maintained, the wear layer will be completed within a maximum of one week.
After this, teams will install the expansion joints on the bridges, will set up the metal guardrail, and will carry out road markings and signage. All these works must be completed by around August 24, to allow for overload tests on the two bridges and the viaduct. Authorities emphasize the importance of adhering to each stage, ensuring that the road will be opened under safe conditions.
The Comarnic Beltway is considered a crucial investment for the Prahova Valley, playing a role in reducing traffic on DN1 and improving circulation in the area. Transparency is promised in the progress of the works, with frequent updates until the official opening of the road.
