The Timișoara Public Transportation Company (STPT) has launched a tender for the CASCO insurance of Karsan electric buses, with a budget of about 335,000 lei. Bids are expected by August 25. The insurance will cover the costs of accidents, fires and other damages, as the vehicles are only covered by RCA policy. STPT has been looking for viable solutions to protect the vehicles after drivers have often incurred repair costs.
