An employee of the Bucharest Transport Company (STB), who worked as a fuel tanker driver, was caught red-handed while stealing fuel from the vehicle he was driving. He was caught with approximately 240 liters of diesel. STB decided to conduct checks after suspicions arose regarding fuel consumption, notifying the Public Transport Police Brigade.

Following collaboration with the police, the employee was caught during the theft. The general director of STB, Andrei Dinculescu-Bighea, emphasized the company's commitment to seriously address any attempt at fraud or theft, continuing to cooperate with the authorities to provide all necessary information for the investigation.
