Sorin Grindeanu, the leader of PSD, is building a house in the commune of Dumbrăvița, near Timișoara, with a project carried out by the company Addicted Evolution SRL, formerly Nordis Architecture, which is the subject of a DIICOT investigation for embezzlement and money laundering. Grindeanu stated that he does not have a direct contract with Nordis, but with general contractors who might collaborate with it.

The house project, with an area of almost 700 square meters, has an estimated value of nearly 1 million lei. In the context of the Nordis scandal, which involves serious allegations of embezzlement, Grindeanu admitted that he traveled on planes rented by the Nordis group, but insisted that he paid for his flights.

The investigation has revealed connections between Grindeanu and the shareholders of the company involved in the construction of his house, raising questions about his integrity in the current political context.
