The service areas on the A0 North Highway, at kilometer 24 in Balotești, will include electric charging stations, restrooms, and commercial facilities, being leased for 30 years.

The service areas on Lot 2 of the A0 North Highway, located in the town of Balotești, will each have 4 hectares and will be built on both directions of travel. They will include charging stations for electric cars and trucks, equipped with at least 4 charging points of 150 kW each, capable of charging 4 cars or 8 trucks simultaneously. Additionally, the areas will offer showers for truck drivers, with separate cabins and emergency alert systems. The facilities will also include public toilets, fuel distribution stations, commercial spaces, and dining areas. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) has launched a tender for the concession of these areas for the next 30 years, with a minimum annual fee of 13,277,992 lei. The areas will be developed from scratch, and the operating hours will be non-stop, allowing the concessionaires to add additional facilities, such as restaurants or secure parking lots.
