CNAIR Director General Cristian Pistol signed on Wednesday the contract for the concession of the first two gas stations on the Moldavia Motorway (A7). The stations will be built at kilometer 91, near the town of Valea Râmnicului, to provide drivers with access to fuel and complementary services.
The contract was awarded to MOL Romania Petroleum Products and has a term of 20 years. The concession holder has 21 months to complete all the mandatory facilities. Each service area will include 94 parking spaces for cars, 33 for trucks, six for coaches and six for people with disabilities.
The plans also include public toilets, showers, commercial spaces, a snack bar and stations for recharging electric vehicles. Until the works are completed, MOL Romania has expressed its willingness to install temporary containers for supplying fuel, so that drivers can benefit from this service on the A7 more quickly.
